You Goat Vinyl/BYO Vinyl For Record Store Day 2026

Location: Captain Stomp Records, 46 Forest Rd, Ferntree Gully, VIC from 10am to 7pm and The Fat Goat, 2 Morris Rd, Upwey, VIC from 4pm to 10pm.

Record Store Day will be held on Saturday 18 April 2026.

We are partnering again this year with our local community radio station 3MDR and The Fat Goat in Upwey for the “You Goat Vinyl” BYO vinyl DJ sessions at both Captain Stomp Records and The Fat Goat. The 20 minute slots start at Captain Stomp from 10am and run through to 7pm. At the Fat Goat they will start from 4pm and run through to 10pm.

Prior DJ experience is not required and a 3MDR radio presenter DJ will be on hand at Captain Stomp to help teach you and guide you on using the decks through your session.

DJ slot bookings are open at Captain Stomp Records, so drop down to the store to book your 20 minute slot (All the sessions are fully booked at the Fat Goat).

Bring your mates, and have a browse through the vinyl racks at Captain Stomp Records where there will be a selection of the limited edition vinyl records being released for RSD 2025, and only available in independent record stores. There will also be a selection of Captain Stomp’s vinyl records at The Fat Goat in Upwey as well, to help celebrate all things music and independent record stores.
