“The sound of the harp is colour dancing and magic forming. It can be an icicle, an unfurling flower, a sunbeam, a storm, a deep sea, a calm breath. So feel your way, the journey will be richer” – Lissa-Kathe

“(A) tapestry of musical storytelling. Lissa-Kathe’s performance is really deep and imploring, beautifully partnered by her magical Harp.” (Steve Shephard – One World Music Radio).

Uniquely Celtic/Dreamy/Folk, sometimes venturing into the orchestral and cinematic. Australian born, Lissa-Kathe (pronounced Lissa-Kate) has strong Irish and English/Scottish ancestry. These are influences that come alive in her musical creations. Inspired by the myths, ancient lore, poems and landscapes of her ancestors. Lissa-Kathe’s experience as a musician, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist covers her lifetime.

She has performed and recorded solo and collaboratively over the many years, through the UK, Ireland and even the Shetland Isles and is a deserving receiver of many awards and merit for her songs and compositions.

She was one of just 10 international artists invited to perform for the International Song Of Peace Awards, in Tipperary, Ireland 2011, with her song ‘Earth Spun’. With now 10 releases to date, covering a range of genres and instruments, including her 2020 solo harp album, ‘Harp Dreaming’ inspired by the forests of the Northern Rivers region in NSW, Lissa-Kathe is currently working on a range of projects and a new album. Lissa-Kathe shares her travels, her inspirations and musical musings and stories with you. From the wild North Atlantic sea to the rainforests of Australia.

Her poetic lyrics and emotive melodies are woven through her soundscapes and are tender and strong in the same moments. So draw close and hear.
