Tasmanian artist WOLF ARROW RAIN will be performing with her 4 piece Psych Folk band as they launch their single titled THE RAVEN.

W.A.R (9:10pm) will be supported by COLD HANDS WARM HEART (8:20PM) and local singer/songwriter MAGGIE ALLEY (7:30PM). DOORS 6:30PM.
We will also have the beautiful Jedda Mahler dancing with fans and adding a few more theatrical layers to the bird vibes.

Prepare yourself to encompass a journey through layers of mythological inspired lyric, magic, ritualistic vibes and quirky dream pop/psyche folk and punk rock all in a genre of it’s own.
Close your eyes and picture the cosmos in all of it’s glorious colors with a band of witches sitting in the clouds smashing out some ethereal haunting rhythmic entrancing tunes.
In recent years, W.A.R has graced the stages of MONA MUSEUM, FALLS FESTIVAL, SEVEN SISTERS and a multitude of folk festivals in Australia. With the support of various community radio over the past 18 years, Wolf Arrow Rain has gained national acclaim with her bands WOLVES OF RAIN, WOLF BIRD RADIO and THE BLACK SWAN.
‘THE RAVEN’ is a follow up to recent single ‘CHERRY BLOSSOMS’. Both songs are to be featured on the coming album ‘THE ARROW OF TIME’ set for release this Summer.

COLD HANDS WARM HEART (Melbourne/Naarm) have just released their 4th album, titled ‘LUXURY BAT’ with National acclaim.
CHWH creates experimental compositions that are small journeys deeply rooted in a sense of place and connection to the natural environment. Centered around the base compositions of Genevieve Fry (Grand Salvo, Hear My Eyes: Suspiria, Prudence Rees-Lee), the group’s performances are textural and energetic reflecting the unpredictable temperament of the ecological world.
Cold Hands Warm Heart’s sound combines new-age with new-wave, resulting in a mood that’s layered and tasteful, blending mosaics of harp, synth, recorder and guitar as a backdrop to songwriting and improvisation.

MAGGIE ALLEY
Maggie Alley’s is a singer songwriter from Melbourne Victoria and is currently based in the Dandenong Ranges.
Her songs come from the flawed feminine, her narrative lyrics drawn from experience in the world, absorbed consciously and unconsciously. Alley’s two digital EPs (Beasts, and Live at the Brunswick Ballroom) have gained strong community radio and ABC airplay, with devastating vocal performances described as “banshee like”.ABC Radio compared her to “a young Patti Smith”.
