It’s a Community Day for Local Legends 3MDR!

For 40 years 3MDR, Mountain District Radio, have been spinning local yarns and music!

40 years! That’s a long time! Though not much has changed in the Hills!

With over 70k listeners annualy – 3 MDR are the heartbeat of the Hills!

How about some old school rock n roll? 3MDR, Monday 1pm!

Need to listen to some Tamil tunes? – 3MDR Sunday 7.30am!

Need to know what’s going on in Samoa right now? 3MDR Sunday 2pm!

This is a local radio station for everyone!!!

and they run on the smell of an oily rag! 100 volunteers, subscribers, sponsors & donors!

We can’t think of a more valuable asset to have in the Hills!

ABOUT BABAJIS COMMUNITY DAYS

Once a month we bring community together to raise funds by donating 10% of our sales (Dine In, Take Away and Gift Vouchers) to a local community group. Over the year’s we’ve raised funds for preschools, scouts, local artist groups, gardening clubs and even the local doggy training classes.

If you would like your group to be considered for future community days – please get in touch with us at [email protected] and let us know a little about you and what you’re raising funds for. We are especially keen to support smaller groups in our community who struggle to get funding.
