Monday 3rd – Sunday 23rd October – “You Are 3MDR!”
3MDR’s 2022 Radiothon is here and we’re asking you for your support.
We can’t wait to hear how YOU are 3MDR!
The single biggest event on the 3MDR calendar, Radiothon, is on now. It’s when the station celebrates this marvelous community we’ve all created together and asks you to subscribe and donate, if you possibly can, to keep us on air. Your support is vital – and it could also win you some great prizes.
3MDR is listener-funded, absolutely independent radio, which means we rely on your subscriptions to operate. For decades now, you’ve done us proud. Your support has allowed us to stay on air and provide a platform for voices, music and ideas that may otherwise never be heard.
We know that everyone has had a really tough couple of years – musicians, businesses, organisations and communities are still working out what life looks like, as we come out of the haze. And we are too. But one thing we know is that the passion and commitment of our amazing volunteer presenters, has held us all together through the isolation of the pandemic.
This year we will be inviting our listeners and supporters to share with us how “You Are 3MDR”, through stories, photos, videos… anything that reminds us of the good times we’ve had and how we are all connected. Get your story ready and hit up your favourite presenter to share it with us all.
We are excited to be looking forward and working to rebuild our community together with you. In a nutshell, 3MDR needs to raise funds so we can get back out amongst it!! We are keen to smash back into hosting and attending events, showcasing amazing local musicians and artists and seeing everyone in person again!!

How Do I Subscribe And Donate?
Simply navigate to our Subscribe page, then follow the prompts.
We are also working on an option for you to choose to “auto-renew” your subscription – this way you won’t accidentally forget to re-subscribe at this critical time of year… We hope to have this ready asap… Sorry for the delay, we’re under the pump in the office.
If you have any problems subscribing online, you can still give us a call on (03) 9752 5637 and one of our friendly staff members or volunteers will process your subscription and/or donation for you – but if you can, online is the best way to go.
