Your listeners are 3MDR subscribers and they keep your show on the airwaves. Encourage them to subscribe all year round, not just during Radiothon.

Why subscribe?

Here’s some great reasons why you should encourage your listeners to subscribe:

• 3MDR is a not-for-profit community radio station that runs on the hard work, passion and dedication of staff, over 100 volunteers, and the generosity of the subscribers, donors and sponsors who fund the station.
• 3MDR simply can not stay on the air without the essential financial support of our listening public and supporters.
• 3MDR provides an alternative to commercial and national stations, giving a platform to music and issues of social justice; and many people, causes and opinions that may otherwise not be heard.
• 3MDR is a multi-award winning community radio station, across our community language shows, programming & music production;

• Over 100 3MDR volunteers contribute approximately $1M worth of volunteer labour every year;
• 3MDR’s volunteer presenters broadcast over 120 hours of live radio every week;
• 1 x $55 Standard Listener Subscription will keep 3MDR on air for 2 hours, meaning you get 8,758 hours of FREE listening per year;
• $100 will go towards ensuring we have the equipment we need to bring you LIVE local music from Forest Park Homestead to your ears;
• $250 provides one month’s internet access so you can listen online to shows and catch up onDemand;
• 3MDR’s approximate annual expenditure is $150,000 – wages, rent, utilities, licence fees, phone/internet, insurance, capital works etc; &
• 3MDR provides radio placements and experiences for over 50 primary, secondary & tertiary students every year;
• Donations of $2 or more are TAX DEDUCTIBLE;

Artist Subscribers: $55/year

All artist subscribers to 3MDR receive a free two week on air campaign, a weekly shout out on a program of their choosing, and 50% off all sponsorship packages! 

Community Group Subscribers: $82/year

All community group subscribers to 3MDR receive a free two week on air campaign, a weekly shout out on a program of their choosing, and 50% off all sponsorship packages! 

Business Subscribers: $137/year

All business subscribers get a weekly shout out on a program of their choosing, free events listing on 3mdr.com and 25% of all sponsorship packages.
