SAVE THE DATE! Kallista Centenary Celebrations! Saturday 29th March from 2pm till late.
Come celebrate 100 years since our township changed names from South Sassafras to Kallista “Most Beautiful”.
In 1925 there was a gala event and in 2025 Kallista Village Inc is planning an afternoon and evening of celebrations.
With 1920s themed olde-school fun featuring Pavillions with Kids Activities, DRMC Hot Jazz Orchestra, Community Choirs, 3MDR 97.1FM , Vintage Cars, Street Parade, a Historic Ceremony, a Bush Band, a Youth Stage, then into the evening with a Light Show and Jazz Hall!
A Hills event not to be missed!!!
A Collaborative Community effort including Kallista Traders, Kallista-The Patch CFA, Kallista Primary School, Kallista Kindergarten, Monbulk Historical Society, Sherbrooke Art Gallery and many more partners and performers to be announced.
