Celebrating YOUth Awards!

Every year, Yarra Ranges Council celebrates the contributions and achievements of young people in the community through a youth-led awards night!
The celebration is hosted by young people and includes:
- inspiring speeches + personal stories
- performances
- presentations
- food!
- plus a visit by the Mayor
3MDR nominated work experience whiz Stefano who has been with us this year learning audio production, sound engineering and more. We are so proud of the hard work Stefano has done for 3MDR and the way he’s thrown himself into our community: making pre recorded announcements and radio programs, assisting the sound engineer at our radiothon gig at Sooki Lounge in October and even helping the younger primary aged kids from Upwey South make a podcast.
Congratulations Stefano, we can’t wait to see what you do next!
