The Push Music Industry Mentoring Program

Applications are now open for the next cohort of The Push’s national workplace learning program – Music Industry Mentoring.

With support from The Ian Potter Foundation, this intake of the Music Industry Mentoring program will support eleven young people with opportunities to be placed and mentored in some of Australia’s biggest music companies.

This program will give you the opportunity to develop skills, confidence, and networks across a range of streams including event management, technical production, artist management and programming.

The Music Industry Mentoring program aims to respond to ongoing sector-wide skills shortages and declining enrolments across music and arts in both secondary and higher education – creating a pipeline for skilled industry practitioners and providing both young people and workplaces with a framework that ensures workplace readiness and meaningful pathways into the contemporary music sector.
