For me, JAZZ music is the best illustration of this quote by Heraclitus, as although it sometimes seems we are stuck in the repetition of daily life, if we take an alternative perspective we see a universal truth… no day can be repeated, no life can be repeated, and no song can be repeated.
My name is Tom C., I’ve been a jazz fan for over twenty years and I have never been as excited and invigorated by NEW MUSIC as what I hear happening around the world, in the last five to ten years. If it is true that ‘jazz is dead’ then watch out, as it’s walking the earth again, and it wants to eat your brains!
