Emerald for Sustainability

Emerald for sustainability is a non-profit, non politically aligned, community action group and a sub commitee of the emerald community house.
The focus is for residents, businesses and community groups in the Emerald district to reduce their water and energy consumption, minimise waste and increase the biodiversity; with an aim to live a low carbon or carbon neutral lifestyle.

2nd Monday of the Month. Meetings start at 7:30pm at Emerald Library meeting room.
Next dates are: 13th Sep, 11th Oct, 8th Nov & 13th Dec

Monbulk Penguin Club

Do you want to improve your ability:

* To communicate with confidence thinking and expressing yourself clearly
* Giving presentations that inform, entertain & persuade and run meetings effectively & democratically in a supportive and friendly enviroment

The Penguin Club is a speaking club for women right here in the dandenongs.

Meetings are every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 8pm
